Description:
CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, ?Disparities in Elderly Pneumococcal Vaccination.? $250,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2005 to fund one award. The purpose of this program is to fund research that will determine the extent to which practice-level differences in adult immunization practices may contribute to the disparities observed in pneumococcal vaccination at the population level.
